I bought this a couple of weeks ago. Box cutter and staple gun? Um, yes! With floral designs? Of course!
I actually hesitated a bit because I didn't think I should spend $10 on a box cutter, but I saw that it's a Cynthia Rowley for Target item and I was almost sold. I brought it up to one of those price scanners and got really giddy when it rang up as $4.98. Score!
I know I sound so ridiculous. I'm writing a post about a box cutter and staple gun. Domestivity is scary.
When R and I passed Stonestown on Sunday, I mentioned to him that there was cupcake place at their Sunday Farmer's market. Without hesitation, we parked and went cupcake hunting. I knew I found Teeny Cake when I saw their cake pops. At $1, the mini cupcakes were pretty good and cheap too! My sister really liked the chocolate stout. I really like the strawberry one.
Clockwise from top left - Chocolate w/ chocolate buttercream, chocolate w/ vanilla butter cream, chocolate stout, vanilla bean w/ vanilla buttercream, strawberry w/ strawberry buttercream, red velvet.
Cakepops! I don't remember what flavors these are. I haven't tried them yet. :-(
These are from a while back from Cups and Cakes. See that pink and pearl one? It's called Pretty Pretty Princess and I ate most of it. Yup, no shame.
Three large ones - Pretty pretty princess is strawberry w/ strawberry buttercream and pearls and chocolate w/ cookie (forgot it's cute name) frosting? The one with the red swirl is called the Strawberry Blonde which is a honey cake and strawberry buttercream. The tiny one on the left is red velvet and on the right is vanilla w/ vanilla buttercream and nilla wafer.
I've been lazy to take pictures so this poor blog is suffering. I probably have a few pictures that I haven't uploaded yet, but no promises.
I’m still working hard trying to furnish my poor little apartment. I’m almost done with the kitchen. It’s missing some wall art and we’re still debating about a second row of cabinets.
The living room is also a work in progress. The sofa was clear for a week. Now there's stuff all over it. I have yet to find curtain rods that I like for the closet office, where we've been dumping stuff. Even my mother-in-law noticed!
We installed the washer and dryer last weekend. I think that deserved +5 adult points. I never knew buying major appliances would cause so much angst and frustration. Even for a master bargain shopper like me.
Our one-year wedding anniversary (the city hall one) is coming up in a few weeks. I’m still debating whether we want to go on a quick vacation or not.
Enough of the brain dump. Here are some pictures.
I bought these because the damn Williams-Sonoma gift card was taking up valuable wallet space. This is how they came out. I'm such an amateur.
