Weekend Roundup, Vol. 5

I'm a little late this week, but it's a short week in my defense.

 1. Um, why not? We've convinced Lulu to order this for her birthday.  It's going to be fun cutting into this.

2. I had to buy this.  With a name like Purple Queen, yes please!

3. I got a double yolk in my ramen! It's a lucky sign, right?

 4. I was in dire need of adult beverages all week. My week felt longer than usual. 

5. Ditto. Pimosa at brunch - mimosa with pomegranate syrup.

6. It took a fair amount of self control not to buy this cardigan.

Weekend Roundup, Vol. 4

 1. This was not a good week in terms of healthy snacking at work. In my defense, I was opposed to buying these.

2. To start our long weekend early, my sister and I both took Friday off to indulge in some retail therapy.  This is her walk of shame out from said store.

 3. I killed off the last of our original terrariums several months ago.  Refusing defeat, I picked these pretty things up from the San Jose flea market. 

 4. One of my favorites. From one of my favorite people in the world.

5. I actually had escargot twice this weekend.  I didn't take a picture of the first one, but rest assured it was deliciously steamed in its shell at a Vietnamese restaurant.  This was from brunch at a French restaurant, drenched in buttery goodness.

November Birchbox

I'm underwhelmed with this month's Birchbox.

Weekend Roundup, Vol. 3

 1. I was in line for half an hour just so that we could pick up shirts in time for the parade on Wednesday.

 2. Saturday morning/afternoon treat.

 3. Spent time at one of my favorite stores, Typo.  I want to buy everything in the store.

4. I forced him to take this picture.  We were all very, very tired.

5. This little gal makes me so happy.

Weekend Roundup, Vol. 2

 1. World Series Game 1.

 2. World Series Game 2.

 3. World Series Game 3.

 

4. World Series Game 4. I was really happy for obvious reasons, but I think my liver was extremely happy.  See below.

 5. Each game included a lot of beverages of this type. Somewhere along the way, I acquired the moniker "Mrs. Irresponsible."

 6. Each subsequent day after required some sort of half attempt at a hangover cure.

7. Butterfly! I also managed to squeeze in Nightlife at the Academy of Sciences at some point this week.

 1. #Gamerbabe at Chug Pub.

2. Hangover Tuesday.

3. Hugging mugs at JayMart.  I didn't buy them. ::sad face::

4. Canvas letters from Typo.  R is just as excited as I am to put them up.

5. Look ma! I won, I won! I totally thought this was a fluke, but sure enough, this was delivered this week.

6. My sister thinks I'm stylish. Old Navy top, Express bottom, and Kenneth Cole Reaction shoes.

October Birchbox

I was really excited to opt-in for the Birchbox + Goop collaboration.
