Weekday Grub: Rosemary Cornish Game Hens

Success! According to Wikipedia, a Cornish Game hen is really just a young chicken.  I had no recipe, I just "winged" it (haha, get it?). Excuse the cell phone pic, the skin was a nice, tan/brown not orange.  My chicken needs some sunscreen.

Covet: Pretty things

The office/closet space is still not done yet.  It was the first apartment project I thought about when we moved in, but it's kind of fallen to the wayside.  I tried to pick it up last night by making R hang stuff, but it just left a big mess in the middle of my living room.  So sad.  I wish I had pictures to show for it. In terms of knick-knacks and organizational options, this little space is where I've spent the most time and effort.  Gah!  Anyway, because the lack of pretty pictures is depressing me, so here's a bunch of things I want now.

I want this chair.  I have nowhere to put it and pretty sure R will kill me, but I want it.

 

Why didn't they have these shoes around for my wedding?

I want this romper.  Nevermind that the city is experiencing its coldest summer ever.  Plus, R thinks it'll be hard for me to use the restroom.

I want this closet.  Maybe the clothes too.

And finally, this rug.  R doesn't want any more "flowery things" in our living room. Psf!

Kingdom Cakes - This was a while ago, so I don't remember the flavors.  Among them were red velvet, Thai iced tea, basil lemon blueberry, chocolate, coconut, banana cream pie, mint chocolate, cookies & cream, orange nutella, carrot.

My friend J borrowed my camera, so I won't have any new pics up any time soon.  He's a busy body and I probably wont see him until my best friend comes back.  Darn, I wanted to try out a new raisin bun recipe today.

My kitchen walls are still kind of bare.  I'm experimenting with some of the 5 million pieces of scrapbook paper I still have left from the wedding, but nothing fruitful yet.  I bought a Keep Calm and Carry On poster from TJ Maxx, but I think I changed my mind. Yay for 30-day return policies! Here's what's on my radar now:

I made English Muffins!

Actually, according to this recipe, I made British Muffins.

Framboise & Royal Milk Tea KitKats!

 

I liked the milk tea one better than the framboise.  According to wikipedia, framboise "is (French for raspberry) is a Belgian beer."  Doesn't that picture not look like beer? It looks like strawberry cake to me, at least that's what I thought before I wikipedia-ed it.
