I really wish I had more exciting things to write about.  It's been one month since my surgery and two weeks since R's hip surgery.  We're doing fine, made some minor adjustments to our daily routines, but nothing outrageous.

This little blog o' mine has been on the brain lately.  I feel incredibly guilty for not writing in this because one of my hopes of this blog was to improve my writing.  Whilst tutoring yesterday, I couldn't stop thinking about sentence structure and grammar. The way we converse with others in daily life is really different from writing out a clear concise thought.  I felt like a hypocrite trying to teaching my two little cousins to write clearly and concisely when I haven't done so in a long while.

Anyhoot, I'm attempting to get back into the hang of things.  Let's see where this leads.

I hate posting without pictures.  So here's one of my custom made ice cream sandwich from Berkeley's CREAM.  Acronym for Cookies Rule Everything Around Me.  Coffee almond fudge ice cream with cappuccino cookies for only $2.  My heart just fluttered a little.
