My sister and I buy a lot of lip balms, chapsticks, and lip glosses. We have a few expensive go-to ones from department store counters, but most are cheapie drugstore ones. We don't purposely buy large quantities of lip products, we just lose them frequently. I don't think I've ever finished a tube of anything, I always manage to lose them before the last drop.
Anyway, my requirements for lip stuff are:
- can't be sticky, I hate when my hair gets stuck on my lips
- nice tasting, none of that pina colada, chocolate, yuck flavors please!
- comes in a tube, I don't like dipping my fingers into pots of lip stuff, reminds me of petri dishes.
So the Nivea lip balm was on sale for $0.99 last week and we happen to have a BOGO free coupon. So yeah, I'm trying out this $0.50 beauty this week:
